IIT Delhi showcases emerging healthcare technologies at second CSR conclave

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi organised its second CSR Conclave on "Emerging Healthcare Technologies and PSU Summit", bringing together more than 150 leaders and industry professionals.

Hosted by the Corporate Relations Office, the conclave provided a platform to showcase the institute's research and technology capabilities, strengthen industry-academia partnerships and explore opportunities for CSR and public sector support for research and innovation addressing national priorities.

The event brings together experts from CSR foundations, public sector undertakings (PSUs), government organisations and academia. "The first session, 'Emerging Healthcare Technologies', highlighted IIT Delhi's research in areas including biological sciences, biomedical engineering and artificial intelligence.

Faculty members presented their work in therapeutics and vaccines, next-generation healthcare technologies, AI in healthcare, and diagnostic devices and implants," the institute said in a statement.

The exhibits included innovations such as Raman spectroscopy for cancer detection, a miniaturised colposcope for cervical cancer screening, an integrated microsurgical irrigation-suction device, AI platforms for oncology and neurological diagnosis, and wearable robotic exoskeletons for mobility augmentation.
