CAT 2022: IIM Bangalore officially releases notification at iimcat.ac.in; Exam to be held on November 27
CAT exam notification 2022 was released officially on iimcat.ac.in. Along with it the official website of CAT 2022 has also been activated.
Students can predict their overall performance by using CAT 2024 Percentile Predictor tool before the declaration of the actual result.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore, has officially released the CAT notification 2022 today, July 31. As per this official CAT 2022 notification, the CAT exam date 2022 is November 27. The CAT 2022 application form will be released on August 3 at 10 am online mode on the official IIM CAT website. Students with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50 percent aggregate marks are eligible to apply for the CAT exam 2022.

There is no change in the CAT 2022 exam pattern and syllabus. Like last year, IIM Bangalore will also conduct CAT 2022 in three slots of 2 hours each- Slot 1 will be held from 8:30 am to 10:30 pm, slot 2- 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and slot 3 will be held from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

The CAT 2022 question paper will have 3 sections - Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), Verbal ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA). Each section will have a 40 minutes sectional time limit and PwD candidates will get (53 minutes and 20 seconds) to solve each section. DILR section will have 24 questions, VARC will have 26 and QA will have 26 questions.
CAT eligibility criteria 2022
In the published CAT notification , IIM Bangalore has mentioned the detailed eligibility criteria for the CAT exam 2022. Check out the highlights of CAT 2022 eligibility criteria.

Education qualification: Students should have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Those who are pursuing their final year of bachelor’s degrees are also eligible to appear for CAT 2022.

Qualifying marks: General category candidates need to secure 50% marks in total aggregate and 45% marks for candidates belonging to the reserved category.

Age limit: There is no age restriction to appear for the CAT entrance test.
CAT registration 2022
IIM Bangalore will begin CAT 2022 registration on August 3 from 10 am onwards. Eligible students will be able to fill out the CAT application form till September 14, 2022. After closing of CAT 2022 registration, the CAT correction window will take place to edit the submitted application form.
In order to complete the CAT registration, candidates have to pay a CAT application fee of Rs 2300 for the general category and Rs 1150 for the reserved category.
About CAT 2022
IIMs annually conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) annually on a rotational basis. It is expected that more than 2.5 lakh applicants will register for CAT 2022. IIM Bangalore (the conducting body) will release the CAT 2022 result tentatively in the first week of January 2023.
Post declaration of CAT result, students will have to apply individually to the IIMs and will have to appear for the selection process in order to take MBA/ PGDM admission.
