CAT 2022: Registration begins at iimcat.ac.in; Direct link, how to apply

NEW DELHI- The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, has started the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 online registration process today, August 3. Interested candidates can register for CAT 2022 on the official website- iimcat.ac.in. As per the CAT 2022 important dates, candidates will be able to submit CAT application form 2022 till September 14. CAT exam date 2022 is November 27. IIM Bangalore will conduct IIM CAT in three different shifts.

At the time of CAT 2022 form filling, candidates will have to pay the category wise CAT application fee. Candidates belonging to the General category will have to pay Rs 2300 and those who belong to reserved category need to pay Rs 1150. Apart from that, candidates will have to upload all the requisite documents at the time of CAT application form filling. Prior to filling the CAT 2022 registration form, candidates are suggested to check and meet the specified CAT eligibility criteria.

• Candidates should have completed their bachelor’s degree with the required percentage of marks.SC/ST/PwD candidates should have a minimum 45%. For General, EWS and NC-OBC candidates, the minimum is 50%.

• Those who have completed their professional degree (CA/ CS/ ICWA/ Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) are also eligible to appear for CAT exam 2022.

• Those who are pursuing their final year of graduation are also eligible to appear for CAT 2022 entrance test.

Documents/ details required to fill CAT 2022 application form

Candidates are advised to keep all the following documents and details ready with them before filling CAT exam application form.

• Valid email address and mobile number

• Scanned copy of passport size photograph

• Scanned copy of signature

• Personal details

• Past academic details

• Work experience (if any)

• Credit/ debit card or net banking details for paying CAT application fee

How to fill CAT form 2022

In order to submit CAT 2022 application form successfully, candidates are advised to refer to the following steps.

Step 1- Visit the official website of IIM CAT 2022 and click on the “New Registration” tab

Step 2- Fill all the basic information to generate login credentials (CAT 2022 login ID and Password)

Step 3- Now re-login by entering the CAT exam login credentials and fill the CAT online application form

Step 4- Upload all the CAT 2022 required scanned documents

Step 5- Pay CAT 2022 application fee by using credit/ debit card or net banking

Step 6- Submit CAT form and take a print out of it for future reference

After the closing of CAT registration window, IIM Bangalore will open the CAT application form correction window for candidates to modify their entered details submitted in the CAT registration form. After the CAT correction window, IIM Bangalore will issue the IIM CAT admit card on October 27. Registered candidates will have to use their IIM CAT login details to download the admit card.
