CAT 2023 admit card on October 25 at iimcat.ac.in; question paper pattern

Download EbookNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM Lucknow) will upload the Common Aptitude Test (CAT 2023) admit card on the official website, iimcat.ac.in, October 25. The CAT 2023 exam will be held in three shifts on November 26.
The CAT 2023 question paper will be divided into three sections -- verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative ability. Candidates will be allotted 40 minutes for attempting each section and the entire exam will be of 120 minutes. Students won’t be able to switch between sections while attempting a section.
CAT 2023 applicability
The CAT 2023 is being held for admission to 21 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). The exam is also accepted by several other institutes such as Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) of DU, National Institute of Technology, Trichy, Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani, Institute of Management Studies, BHU and MDI Gurgaon. It is also used by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) for their management programmes.
CAT 2023 tutorials
Candidates will be able to take tutorials to understand the format of the test on the CAT website from October 2023. Candidates are advised to work on the tutorials available on the CAT website well in advance, the IIM Lucknow has said.
The result of CAT 2023 will be declared in mid-January, following which the score cards will be available on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. The authorities have said that the candidates will also be intimated individually by SMS. The CAT 2023 score will be valid for admission till December 31, 2024.
Around 3.3 lakh candidates have registered for CAT 2023 this year, a record increase of 30% compared to last year.
