CAT 2023 application date soon; top IIMs and their last placements

NEW DELHI: The 2023 edition of the Common Admission Test (CAT) will likely be held on November 26. The CAT 2023 application will likely begin on the first week of August and the notification with the eligibility and other important details will is expected to be released soon in July.

Candidates seeking admission to MBA programmes eye the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as IIMs are India’s top education institutes for postgraduate management programmes due to their quality education and placement statistics.

Postgraduate management aspirants who aim at getting admission to IIMs in the 2024-25 session and are preparing for CAT 2023 can check the placements data of some IIMs recorded this year.

IIM Raipur

As many as 255 students of IIM Raipur participating in the 2023 placements have been placed successfully. The highest package by a student in the IIM Raipur placements stood at Rs 67.60 lakh per annum, while the average salary this year stood at Rs 21.04 lakh with a 19% increase from last year.

IIM Kashipur

IIM Kashipur in its last placement has drawn the highest salary package at Rs 37 lakh per annum and the average cost to company (CTC) at Rs 18.11 lakh per annum.

IIM Kozhikode

IIM Kozhikode, this year, witnessed 100 percent placement for its postgraduate programme in business leadership (PGP-BL) 2023 batch. While the average salary in the IIM Kozhikode 2023 placement stood at Rs 29.23 lakh per annum, the median salary secured by the students is Rs 25 lakh per annum.
