CAT 2023 results declared at iimcat.ac.in for 2.88 lakh candidates; scorecard download link

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has declared the Common Admission Test (CAT 2023) results for 2.88 lakh students who appeared in the management examination. CAT score 2023 can be accessed using the user id and password on the CAT result link 2023. Like last year, the CAT results 2023 have been announced within 24 days after the exam date.

There will be negative marking for multiple-choice questions (MCQs). For every correct answer three marks will be awarded. The institute has used a normalisation method to calculate CAT percentile as the exam was held in three sections. The overall scaled score is obtained by adding scaled scores of these three sections. The CAT cut-offs are determined based on various factors such as number of candidates, difficulty level, previous year trends. Each participating institute will announce the CAT cut-offs separately.

The IIMs follow a multi-criteria selection process for admission to management programmes. Some IIMs will conduct a written ability test (WAT) and interview for further selection. This year, CAT recorded highest of 3.3 lakh registration, of which 2.88 lakh candidates appeared in the exam.

Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to download the CAT scorecard 2023.

• Visit the CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in.
• Click on the CAT result link on the homepage.
• Enter user id and password on the space provided.
• CAT results 2023 and scorecard will be displayed.
• Check the scores and download the scorecard.
