NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta will publish the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 answer key via login on December 3. The CAT answer key 2024 PDF link and objection window will be opened on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. CAT answer key 2024 (out) live updates.
CAT 2024 answer key link is yet to be activated on the CAT website. Once available, candidates who appeared for the exam will get the opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key by paying a requisite objection fee which will be non-refundable.
The objections raised by candidates will be examined and CAT 2024 final answer key will be released. Based on the final key, CAT result 2024 will be prepared and declared.
CAT 2024 was conducted on November 24 in three slots – slot 1, slot 2, and slot 3. The CAT question paper comprised three sections – VARC, DILR, and QA. CAT 2024 result will tentatively be declared in January 2025 second week.
CAT 2024 answer key: Candidates share scores, percentile
A few candidates shared their scores and ways to check the CAT response sheet 2024 on social media.
An MBA aspirant apparently scored low in the CAT exam. He said in a post on X, “I scored 62 only this time, I was expecting 75 but English ruined everything” and added, “Preparing for XAT, then will see.”

A CAT 2024 candidate claimed he has obtained 96.8 percentile. “Went to give CAT with one-day preparation, saw the answer key, 96.8 percentile,” he wrote in a post.
Another candidate lamented checking the CAT answer key and posted, “Did a mistake by seeing the CAT answer key. Day ruined.”
CAT 2024 response sheet: How to check?
Some CAT 2024 candidates shared the steps to check CAT response sheet 2024 which are as follows:
- Go to the CAT 2024 official website: https://iimcat.ac.in.
- Log in to your account using your credentials.
- Once logged in, press Ctrl + U to view the page's source code (it will open in a new tab).
- In the newly opened tab, you might see an error with a "Reload" button. Click on the Reload button.
- After reloading, press Ctrl + F to search within the page's source code.
- Search for the keyword "digialm" in the source code.
- You will find an orange-highlighted text with a link that starts with "https://..." and ends with ".html".
- Copy that link and open it in a new tab.
- You will now be able to see your response sheet.
Update: In the evening of November 29, IIM Calcutta issued a statement saying the CAT 2024 answer keys will be published on December 3. This story has been updated to include that.
