NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, will be declaring the CAT results 2021 soon. The institute has not yet notified any CAT 2021 result date officially. However, going by the past few years' CAT exam result date trends, the result has been announced on Saturday or Monday in the first week of January month. If IIM Ahmedabad follows the trend this year, then the CAT 2021 result is likely to be announced today, January 1, 2022, the first Saturday of January month.
The CAT result date trends of the past few years show that the CAT result was announced within 34 to 43 days after the CAT exam date. Last year, the CAT 2020 result was announced after 34 days of the exam date, on January 2, 2021. The CAT 2019 result was announced after 41 days, on January 4, 2020. The CAT 2018 result was declared after a gap of 41 days again, on January 5, 2019. For CAT 2017, the CAT result date was January 8, 2018, 43 days after the exam date. There was a gap of 36 days between the CAT 2016 exam date and the result date. The CAT result date 2016 was January 9, 2017.

As per the official stats published on the CAT website, iimcat.ac.in, the overall attendance was approximately 83%. This year, around 1.92 lakh candidates (35% were females, 65% males and 2 transgender) appeared for the exam out of 2.30 lakhs registered eligible candidates.
Candidates who took this MBA entrance test this year will be able to check their CAT result 2021 through the candidate login using their user ID and password. After the declaration of the CAT 2021 result, the exam authority will release the CAT cut off 2021 separately for all the IIMs.

- Visit the CAT 2021 official website - iimcat.ac.in to check CAT result
- Click on the CAT result tab from the homepage.
- Enter the login credentials in the required fields - user ID and password.
- Click on the submit tab to get your CAT 2021 result
- Check all the details mentioned in the CAT scorecard 2022.
- Download the CAT result 2022 and scorecard for future reference.
The exam conducting authority will release the IIM CAT result on the basis of the normalization process. CAT 2022 exam was conducted in two sessions so to keep equity in the marking process, IIM Ahmedabad will opt the normalization process to release the CAT result.
What after CAT result 2021
After the declaration of the CAT exam result, applicants will be called for the further admission process. Applicants who scored equal to more than the cutoff score will be called for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds through email.
