The IIM MBA CAT 2021 result will be announced in the form of a scorecard that will have the candidate's sectional and total CAT score and percentile 2021 along with some personal information. The CAT 2021 entrance exam for MBA/ PGDM admission 2022-24 was held on November 28, 2021.

As per the official stats published on the IIM CAT website, iimcat.ac.in, the overall attendance was approximately 83%. This year, around 1.92 lakh candidates (65% males, 35% females, and 2 transgender) appeared for the CAT 2021 entrance exam out of 2.30 lakhs registered candidates.

After the declaration of the CAT exam result , IIMs will release the CAT 2021 cutoff individually and will begin the shortlisting based on individual CAT cut offs. The CAT cutoff will include the minimum marks required by candidates to be eligible for MBA admission 2022-24.
Also, the authorities will commence the admission process soon after the announcement of the CAT 2021 result. Only candidates who qualify for the CAT 2021 exam will be eligible to participate in the IIM admission process.
