CAT Exam 2022: 2 DILR questions from shifts 2 and 3 not to be evaluated for CAT results

NEW DELHI: The CAT committee has recently issued a notification at the CAT exam official website, iimcat.ac.in, concerning the dropping of 2 questions of the DILR section. One such question is from CAT shift 2 and another is from CAT shift 3 exam. The CAT committee has pointed out that those 2 questions will not be evaluated and are referred to as ambiguous in nature. The CAT scores of candidates for the DILR section in these two shifts are to be adjusted on a prorated basis based on their responses on the balance questions in the DILR section of the CAT exam.

The CAT exam was conducted successfully on November 27 in three different shifts. CAT 2022 exam was held at 293 test centres across 154 cities in India. The authorities have also issued the CAT answer key on December 1 and allowed the candidates to raise objections (in case of discrepancy) till December 3.

There were 2,22,184 candidates who appeared in this MBA entrance exam this year. The overall attendance in this CAT exam was around 87%. The CAT cut off is yet to be released by the authority. The CAT result 2022 will be declared tentatively in the second week of January. The CAT final answer key will also be released along with the CAT exam result.
