The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), the one entrusted with conducting CAT, is expected to release the CAT 2022 notification this week, July 2022. This year, IIM Bangalore is likely to conduct this MBA entrance exam, the Common Admission Test (CAT). CAT exam notification 2022 will be released on the official CAT 2022 website - iimcat.ac.in. The official CAT notification 2022 will briefly mention the CAT exam dates 2022, eligibility criteria, CAT registration dates, and fees, details on CAT test centres and reservations, etc. The CAT 2022 registration window is expected to open in the first week of August 2022.

Last year the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, released the official CAT notification on August 1, Sunday. The CAT 2022 notification is likely to be out by this Sunday, July 31. The Common Admission Test (CAT 2022) is expected to be held on the last Sunday of November 2022 i.e. 27th of November.

Changes in the CAT exam last year

CAT application fee was hiked last year: IIM Ahmedabad has increased the CAT registration fee of Rs 200 from the actual fee for the unreserved category and Rs 100 for the reserved category.

Candidates will be awarded +3 marks for each right response. For every incorrect response, one mark will be deducted. However, there are no negative marks for Non-MCQ-type questions.
