IIM CAT Results 2024 LIVE: Scorecard for 2.93 lakh at iimcat.ac.in soon; cut-off for IIMs, top MBA colleges

IIM Calcutta conducted the CAT 2024 exam on November 24.

IIM Calcutta has issued the CAT 2024 final answer key on the official website at iimcat.ac.in.

• Registration: 3.29 lakh (3,29,000) candidates registered for the CAT 2024 exam.
• Attendance: 2.93 lakh (2,93,000) candidates appeared for the test.
• Attendance Rate: 89%

The CAT 2024 scorecard will remain valid for one year from the result declaration.

Subject experts have also speculated that the IIM CAT cut-offs 2024 may increase as the question paper was easy in difficulty compared to the last two years.

• Visit official website, iimcat.ac.in
• Click on ‘Result’ tab available on the homepage. 
• Enter your CAT 2024 ID and password
• Download the scorecard for your reference.

As per the CAT 2024 marking scheme, candidates will be awarded three marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

Candidates must meet the minimum section-wise and overall percentile cut-off in CAT 2024 for IIM Lucknow MBA admissions 2025.

The CAT 2024 result link will be active at iimcat.ac.in.

Candidates can check the section-wise weightage in CAT 2024 below: 

• VARC - Around 34%
• DILR - About 32%
• QA - Approximately 34%

The formula to calculate CAT 2024 percentile is given below-

Common Admission Test (CAT 2024) was conducted in three sessions on November 24 in 389 exam centres across the country. Around 2.93 lakh candidates appeared for the exam out of 3.29 lakh registered applicants, and recorded an overall attendance of 89%. 

The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta is expected to announce the Common Admission Test (CAT) today. As per past trends, the CAT results were declared within 24-25 days after the conduct of the exam. This year, the MBA entrance exam was held on November 24.
