CAT results 2024 today? Cut-offs for non-IIMs, percentile predictor

NEW DELHI: The Common Admission Test results are expected to be declared by today or tomorrow, as per previous years’ CAT result date trends. The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) has not yet declared the CAT results 2024, however, the final answer key is out at the official website, iimcat.ac.in. The CAT exam 2024 was administered at 389 exam centres for 3.29 lakh registered candidates. As per the overall exam analysis, the MBA entrance exam was easier compared to the last two years.
Bhushan Bapat, Head of Academics, CAT Division at Supergrads, Toprankers said: "Slot 1 of the CAT 2024 exam was easier than last year. The VARC section was moderate, DILR was manageable, and QA was also moderate. Students reacted positively, noting a little surprise in the exam. Overall, the difficulty was moderate, and higher cut-offs are to be expected this year."
The CAT question paper has three sections - verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), Quantitative Aptitude (QA), and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR). The number of good attempts is given below.

How to calculate CAT percentile 2024?
Candidates will have to calculate the total number of candidates (N) who appeared for CAT in all three sections. Each student will be allotted a rank based on their scaled score calculated in each section. In case two candidates obtain the same score, they will be assigned rank 1 and the student with the second highest score will be allotted rank 3 and so on.
