CBSE 12th Results 2021: Grades to be awarded based on Class 10, 11 finals and 12 internals

Apply NowNEW DELHI : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on Thursday, submitted the Class 12 evaluation criteria in the Supreme Court. According to the CBSE Board Class 12 2021 evaluation scheme , 40% of the marks will be based on the Class 12 unit test, mid-term and pre-board examination and 60% weightage will be given to students’ performance in Class 11 and Class 10 final exams.

The schools will evaluate CBSE 10th Class students on the marks based on the average theory component of the best three performances out of the main 5 subjects.
CBSE Class 12 Assessment Scheme 2021
Thirty percent of Class 11 final exams, while 30% of the best of the three out of the five main subjects will be considered, the board said. The practical marks will be calculated as per the scores uploaded by the schools on the CBSE portal.
On CBSE Class 12 exams 2021, Attorney General KK Venugopal said, "Situation that CBSE and ICSE had to face is unprecedented. CBSE has been there since 1929 and we had to innovate so that we are fair to the students. A Committee of 13 experts was put together. The policy is explained in detail."
CBSE Class 12 results are expected to be declared by July 31 .
On June 4, the board established a 13-member panel to determine the evaluation criteria which has been submitted today.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a review meeting regarding the CBSE Class 12 board exams 2021. In this meeting, the minister intimated that the CBSE board 12th exams 2021 have been cancelled due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the country.
