NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education and Council For the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has submitted the Class 12 evaluation criteria in the Supreme Court today. On the basis of the CBSE 12th evaluation criteria, the CBSE 12th result 2021 will be declared.

CBSE on June 17, 2021, has submitted the evaluation criteria to the supreme court. The detailed criteria is provided below. Students who will not be satisfied with their CBSE 12th result will get another opportunity to appear in the exam once the situation noramilizes.
On June 4, the board established a 13-member panel to determine the evaluation criteria. The panel will be submitting its report on the same today.
After the review meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 1, both CBSE and CISCE board announced the cancellation of Class 12 Board exams 2021. The CBSE had also announced that the result will be released as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner. According to the sources, Indian School Certificate (ISC) result 2021 for Class 12 will be declared by July 20 on the basis of internal marks of Class 11 and Class 12.
At the first hearing after PM Modi's announcement, on June 3, the Supreme Court gave CBSE two weeks to frame alternative assessment criteria for Class 12.

While reacting to the released CBSE evaluation criteria, Advocate Mamta Sharma said that the CBSE Class 12 results assessment scheme is satisfactory and we have no objections.
While speaking to ANI, Sanyam Bhardwaj, Examination Controller, CBSE said, "Students who are not satisfied with marks can appear for physical examinations. We'll start online registration to know an exact number of applicants. Class 10th results will be declared most likely by July 20 and Class 12th by July 31."
"Results of Class 12th board examinations will be prepared by adding 30% marks of best three subjects of Class 10th, 30% marks of Class 11th, and 40% marks of unit test, mid-term or pre-board exams of Class 12th," said Sanyam Bhardwaj, Examination Controller, CBSE.

The Supreme Court has released a notice to some states that have not cancelled the Class 12 board exams. 18 state board have already cancelled the Class 12 exams 2021.

As per the ISC latest news for class 12, student's performance in Classes 9 and 10 is measured by their best marks obtained in the 2 years (referred to as raw marks). CISCE official said “The first two factors measure the subject proficiency of the candidates, while the last is a measure of the general quality of the schools the candidates are appearing from,”

As per the CBSE latest news for class 12 2021, if a student is not able to meet the qualifying criterion, they will be placed in the “Essential Repeat” or “Compartment” Category.

As per the latest CBSE news, below CBSE Class 12 evaluation criteria is submitted by the board. The final CBSE marking scheme 2021 class 12 will bereleased soon at cbse.gov.in 2021.
CBSE has decided that the assessment of theory portion of Class 12 will be done by the school based on the following criteria -
CBSE Class 12 result will prepared on the basis of evaluation criteria, in case CBSE students who are not satisfied with the marking scheme will be given an opportunity to take up CBSE 12th board examination when the pandemic situation becomes conducive.
For evaluating a student, marks in best of three papers for Class 10 would be given 30% weightage, for Class 11 weightage would be of 30% and 40% weightage will be taken from Class 12.
CBSE 12th result 2021 to be declared by July 31, 2021. The result will be announced on the official website cbse.gov.in. The result will be released following the evaluation criteria recommended by the board.
AG further stated that if students are not satisfied with the Class 12 grades/ marks, calculated through present mechanism, can improve their marks by appearing in Class 12 examinations, to be held when the COVID19 situation gets better or as the institute suggests.
According to the reports of ANI, each school has to form a CBSE result committee to check the student's marks obtained in the 3 examinations which would be vetted by the CBSE moderation committee.
The CBSE committee of 12 members also mentioned that the CBSE Class 12 results 2021 will be declared by July 31.
The AG further added, "For 12th students, there are practicals. We will take 30 percent from 10th, 30 percent from 11th, and 40 percent from 12th. that's is how their marks will be arrived at."
With regard to Class 11, the committee has taken each one of the exams - unit, term exam or any other exam which has been held, as per the CBSE latest news today. They’ve had the final exam. The marks are similar and are averaged out.
During the hearing, Justice Khanwilkar said, "There is no mention of dispute resolution mechanism, after the declaration of CBSE 12th results, if there are disputes, there should be an inbuilt mechanics, to address it. There were multiple writ petitions last year in that regard."
AG Venugopal further added, "Students will be able to get a certificate like an in-person examination. We have produced a system where the performance of students in each subject is reflected. CBSE has taken class 10, 11, and 12. 10 is the board exam but subjects are different from 11 and 12."

As per the CBSE updates for class 12 2021, the AG says, they have taken 5 main subjects and best of the three, and that is averaged out and the single number is arrived out. This is so far as class 10 is concerned. For class 11, unit exam, term exam, and final exam is taken into account, marks are deduced and averaged out.
Attorney General KK Venugopal on CBSE 12th exams 2021 has said, " Situation what CBSE and ICSE had to face is unprecedented. CBSE has been there since 1929 and we had to innovate so that we are fair to the students. Committee of 13 experts was put together. Policy is explained in detail."
The Bench to submit the CBSE Board 12th Exam 2021 evaluation criteria to the Supreme Court has assembled now. It is expected that the evaluation criteria may be released anytime soon.

“In view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders, it was decided that Class XII Board Exams would not be held this year. It was also decided that CBSE will take steps to compile the results of class XII students as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner.” reads the press release.
