Ankita Gupta, PGT physics, MRG School
"Theoretical questions from all the sections were direct and simple.
Some numericals from section A required thorough understanding of the concepts to solve them.
Section B and section E are very easy in all the three sets.
In section D, theoretical questions are expected and based on previous years questions but the numerical questions were tricky for average students.
Overall the question paper was moderate".
- Tilak, Teacher Physics faculty, JAIN International Residential School (JIRS), Bengaluru
Analysing the CBSE 12th physics question paper as moderately difficult, Sunny Arora, teacher Physics at Genesis Global School said: "The level of difficulty was not the same in all three sets. Children complained that in a few questions they were expected to assume information as data was not provided. Overall not a win-win situation for the learners."
A good question paper. Though it had a number of direct questions too even then was not easy for the students. Some questions required lengthy calculations.
-- Prabhash Tyagi, PGT physics, DPS Raj nagar extension
Analysing the paper as moderate, balanced and as expected, Sanjeev Kumar, Physics Faculty, Silverline Prestige School said: “The direct questions were quite easy and the competency-based questions were average. Students were able to attempt the paper in time.”
As per Virendra Verma, PGT physics, DPS Indirapuram: "The difficulty level of the physics paper in the CBSE class XII board examinations was above average. Some of the MCQs were lengthy and time taking. Rest of the paper was quite balanced though one question in set 1 was not exactly from the prescribed syllabus."
As per students, the difficulty level of question paper was Moderate to Challenging. The toughest sections were ‘Section B’ and ‘Section C.
Most time-consuming section was Section C, Difficulty level of numerical problems was Medium.
All the questions in the paper were from the latest CBSE 12th Physics syllabus. Students felt that the theory questions tested the student’s depth.
