NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the CBSE Class 12th result today as well as Class 10 result. The CBSE Class 12 result is available on the official website, cbseresults.nic.in along with digilocker.com and the UMANG app. The Class 12 results were poorer than last year's with a 5.38 percentage-point drop in pass-percentage and also with 30,000 fewer students scoring above 90%.

This year, 87.33% of the students who appeared for the Class 12 CBSE board exams passed. The total number of students who appeared in the Class 12 exams was 16,96,349. Of them 14,50,174 students passed. The number of candidates placed in compartment in Class 12 has risen sharply, from 67,743 to 1,25,705, which is an increase of 85.5% from last year,
Students can access the CBSE Class 10th result 2023 marksheets through DigiLocker with the help of the 6-digit security pin made available by the respective schools.

In Ekya school Bangalore, Nimishakavi Krishna Anvitha topped commerce stream with 97% marks followed by Aryan Anna with 95.6% marks and Laya Srikanth with 95.4%.
Subject-wise marks of topper:
82 Shiv Nadar School students appeared for CBSE Class 12 exams 2023 and 100% passed. 9.75 % of all students have secured 95 and above whereas 31.70 % of all students have secured between 90-95. Shagun Jha has topped with 97.25%.

In Ekya school Bangalore, Nikhil Prasad Redkar topped Science stream with 96% marks followed by Parikshith Moleyar with 95.2% marks. L Ritika grabbed the third position with 94.8% marks whereas Erin Dea Sequeira secured fourth rank with 94.8%. This year, CBSE has not released toppers list for Class 12 students.

Orchids The International School, NBC Sonipat has achieved a 100% pass percentage in the Class 12 exam. "The marking system this year was exceptional and met our expectations. I strongly believe that the same system should be continued for the upcoming academic year", stated Shalini Chaudhary, Principal, Orchids The International School, NBC Sonipat.
Sakshi, a grade 12 science student scored 98% in her best five subjects, scoring a perfect 100 out of 100 in Chemistry, and achieving an A1 grade in all her subjects. "Heartfelt congratulations to all our students and teachers for their hard work and dedication in achieving this outstanding result", added Shalini Chaudhary.

The CBSE 2023 result Class 12 can be checked offline via SMS.
Students can collect their CBSE Class 12 result 2023 original mark sheets from the respective schools after a few days.

If a student is unable to access CBSE Class 12 marksheet 2023 through DigiLocker because of incorrect mobile number or any other reason, students can activate DigiLocker through Aadhaar card using the following steps:
Visit the official website of DigiLocker at digilocker.gov.in
Click on “sign up”
Link your Aadhaar number
An OTP will be sent to Adhaar card registered mobile number
Enter the OTP
DigiLocker account will be activated through aadhaar card
If Adhaar card linked mobile number is not available, you can enter Aadhaar Number, Name, DoB and Gender as per Aadhaar card and activate the DigiLocker app.
The CBSE Class 12 result also has positional grades for all the subjects. The CBSE Class 12 marksheets has details of marks obtained in all the subjects and positional grades, pass and fail status.

The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) also saw a slight dip in the overall pass percentage in CBSE results 2023. On the other hand, the pass percentage of Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) dropped by 4.53 percentage points.

The board has announced the CBSE Class 12 result. As per the CBSE region-wise pass percentage, Trivandrum has 99.91 percent students passing.
While in 2022, students scoring 90 percent and above were 1,34,797 and in the 95 and above bracket, 33,432 students, while in the CBSE 2023 results, as many as 1,12,838 students scored 90 percent and above marks and 22,622 have scored 95 percent and above marks.
The board has activated three links to check the CBSE Class 12 result 2023. To check and download the CBSE Class 12 result 2023, students will have to key in their roll number, school id and admit card number.
