The government, govt-aided schools used to secure the lowest pass percentage in the pre-COVID period. However, the pass percentage significantly improved post-COVID due to the two-term exams and alternate assessment criteria used by the board to declare results.
The government schools affiliated to the CBSE Board secured 83.83% this year, which is 10 percentage points lower than the previous year Class 12 performance.
The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) also saw a slight dip in the overall pass percentage. On the other hand, the pass percentage of Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) dropped by 4.53 percentage points.
