CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will administer the CBSE Board Class 12th economics paper 2026 tomorrow, March 18, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm across the country. The CBSE 12th economics paper will be based on the CBSE syllabus and the NCERT textbooks.

Students appearing for the CBSE Board exam 2026 must carry their school ID and hall ticket for verification purposes. CBSE board exams 2026 will end on April 10.

As per CBSE guidelines, if a candidate is caught cheating in any subject, the result for that subject will be cancelled and cannot be substituted with any other subject, including a sixth or seventh subject, to be declared “pass.” Instead, the result will be placed in the compartment category, and the candidate will have to reappear for that particular subject. These rules will apply equally to both Class 10 and Class 12 CBSE exams in 2026.

Based on students’ feedback, the overall difficulty level of the CBSE Class 12 Psychology paper ranged from easy to moderate. The paper was well-organized and manageable, offering a balanced emphasis on theoretical understanding as well as the practical application of psychological concepts.

According to students' reaction, the 12th Hindi paper 2026 was "easy" and balanced" in difficulty level. On the other hand, some students noted that the literature section required more detailed answers, which increased the difficulty level slightly.

Starting from the 2026-27 academic session, the CBSE will make it mandatory for students to have APAAR IDs to fill out CBSE exam registration forms. This decision comes after the board found that by 2025-26, fewer than 50% of students in affiliated schools had obtained Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) IDs.
