NEW DELHI: More than 39 lakh students from 26 countries including India would appear for the CBSE board exams 2024 for Classes 10, 12 starting from tomorrow, February 15, informed the Central Board of Secondary Education. 5,80,192 students from Delhi will be appearing for the CBSE 10th, 12th board exams 2024 in 877 examination centres.

Students have been advised to reach their examination centres on or before 10 am in the morning since the CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams will begin from 10:30 am, the board said.

In view of the current situation in Delhi, CBSE advised candidates appearing for board exams to start early from their homes and to use metro services to reach on time.

“Due to the current situation in Delhi, it is expected that there will be traffic issues which may cause delays in reaching the examination centres. Therefore, all students are advised to leave their homes early so that they can reach on time as per the instructions issued by CBSE. It is advisable to use metro services to reach the examination centers which are running smoothly,” it said in an official notice.

The board further urged CBSE students from India and all other countries to plan their journey keeping in mind the regional situations, convenience, weather conditions, distance, etc. in order to reach the exam centre on or before 10 am IST (Indian Standard Time).

“All schools are requested to help and guide the parents and students. Students are once again advised to visit their examination center well in advance and plan their journey so that they reach before or on time on all examination days,” CBSE iterated.
