NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) held the class 10 board exam for information technology (IT) and artificial intelligence (AI) today. Students can check the paper analysis for both the papers here.

The CBSE class 10 exams were held for a duration of 2 hours from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The question papers were for a total of 50 marks. The CBSE class 10 exam pattern for IT and AI exams- part A: objective type questions for 24 marks and part B: subjective type questions for 26 marks.

CBSE Class 10 information technology exam analysis

While speaking about the CBSE class 10 IT paper, Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad, HOD Computer Science, Spokesperson, Rinki Goel said: "Overall a balanced paper but a few questions were tricky where students have to think critically. Students were able to attempt the paper in time. The paper pattern was similar to the CBSE Sample Paper. Students were satisfied. Students found that approximately 20% of questions were above average."

Meanwhile, MRG School, TGT IT, Khushboo Gupta said: "The response of students was satisfactory as most of them were happy with the paper. Only a few reviewed the paper to be a little difficult as they found the questions on employability skills somewhat tricky. However, majority of students called the paper easy and scoring. Most of the questions in the exam are straight forward based on the understanding of the subject. They were able to finish the paper within the stipulated time."

CBSE Class 10 artificial intelligence exam analysis

According to students the level of difficulty was easy. KIIT World School Gurugram, AI Teacher, Kalpana said: "The question paper was a balanced mix of knowledge, analysis and application based questions. Most of the students were able to complete the paper well in time and also could save some time for revision. All sections in the paper were relatively easy. There was no error found in the question paper."

"Overall an easy to average paper as far as the difficulty level is concerned, with a balanced approach for all kinds of students. It was entirely based on CBSE Handbook," the analysis further stated.

Class 10 students will be appearing for their social science paper on March 15, 2023. This will be followed by core subject Hindi and mathematics paper on March 17 and March 21, 2023 respectively.
