CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams 2024 start today; live webcast on exam day guidelines tomorrow

Apply NowNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin the Class 10, 12 board exam 2024 today with the minor subjects. The CBSE Class 10 and 12 students will have to carry their admit card along with the school ID to be allowed entry. As per the CBSE board exam timings, the annual theory exam will be held between 10.30 am to 12.30 pm.
The CBSE Class 10 board exams 2024 will begin with Painting, Gurung, Rai, Tamang, Sherpa. The exams for Gurung, Rai, Tamang, Sherpa will conclude at 1.30 pm. On the other hand, CBSE Class 12 board exams 2024 will begin with entrepreneurship and Kokborok papers, which will also be held for 3 hours duration, and capital market operation and physical activity trainer papers.
Over 21 lakh students in Class 10 and more than 16 lakh students enrolled in Class 12 board exams last year.

The CBSE has issued several guidelines and instructions for students and schools for the conduct of the board exam 2024. As new schools are added to the affiliated schools every year, the board said it is essential to inform the amended exam day guidelines. In this regard, the board will organise a Live Webcast to explain the guidelines for the officials responsible for conducting the exam such as centre superintendents, city coordinators and observers and also evaluation rules.
The CBSE live webinar will be held tomorrow, February 16, at 2 pm for approximately 1 and half hours. “The live webinar will be available on the YouTube channel. The link to join the webinar is https://youtube.com/live/T7Je6dEFq18?feature=share ,” it said.
It has also allowed diabetic type 1 students to carry tablets, fruits, Glucometer and glucose testing strips during the exam.
