CBSE extends relaxation for students with Class 10 basic maths to opt for mathematics in 11th

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct Class 10 mathematics exam 2023 tomorrow, March 21, 2023. The duration of the CBSE Class 10 mathematics paper is three hours. The paper will start at 10:30 am and conclude at 1:30 pm.

Candidates appearing for the exam can download the CBSE Class 10 admit card 2023 for mathematics paper on official website - cbse.gov.in. Students can check CBSE 10th mathematics syllabus, marking scheme, sample paper on the official academic website – cbseacademic.nic.in.
According to CBSE Class 10 sample paper, the mathematics standard paper and mathematics basic paper will be held for 80 marks. The mathematics standard paper contains four sections – Section A, B, C, and D whereas mathematics basic paper will contain five sections – Section A, B, C, D, and E.

In mathematics standard paper, Section A contains 20 questions of one mark each, Section B contains 5 questions of two marks each, Section C contains 6 questions of three marks each, and Section D contains seven questions of five marks each.
In mathematics basic question paper, Section A contains 20 questions of one mark each, Section B contains 5 questions of two marks each, Section C contains 6 questions of three marks each, and Section D contains four questions of four marks each, and Section E contains three questions of six marks each.
