CBSE Class 10 Result (OUT) 2025 LIVE: Trivandrum, Vijaywada performs best; top scorers, calculate percentage

Aahana Parija emerged as one of the CBSE Class 10 toppers 2025 in SAI International School with 99.2%, followed by Harsh Agarwall with 98.8%, securing the second position. The third rank was jointly held by Anushka Panda, Vallabh Sairaman Agrawalla, and Swagat Mohapatro, each scoring 98.6%. All students scored above 60%, with 21.72% securing above 95 percent, 59.22% scoring above 90 percent, and 93.23% achieving more than 75 percent, resulting in an impressive school average of 88.82%.

The overall pass percentage stands at 93.66 per cent, reflecting an increase of 0.06 percentage points from the previous year. This improvement indicates a slight upward trend in the overall results compared to last year.

This year, CBSE conducted exams at 26,675 schools across the country. The CBSE board decided to implement a CCTV surveillance facility at all the schools conducting the board exams. In each of the exam centre, one person was responsible for 10 rooms or 240 students to continuously monitor and ensure fair conduct during the exam, as per the board's guidelines.

CBSE Board Class 10th result 2025 was first declared on DigiLocker at umangresults.digilocker.gov.in and later on CBSE official website, cbse.gov.in. Students were able to access their results using their login details. 

Manya Mangal from Amity International School, Pushp Vihar, Delhi, has secured the top position with 98.6%, scoring 493 marks out of 500. The lists of other toppers from Amity International School, Pushp Vihar, are given below.

Kaavya Mathur has secured the top position with 98.2% marks from ITL Public School, Dwarka. A total of 34% students secured 90% and above marks, while 80% of students secured 80% and above marks. As per ITL Public School Dwarka, 10 students have secured 100 marks in four subjects. The school's average pass percentage is 88%. Additionally, 100% of students passed with first division exam.

While Kerala and Andhra Pradesh remain in the top spot with the highest pass percentage, Karnataka's position improved compared to the previous year by 1.95 points. However, Tamil Nadu's position dropped this year by 0.19 points. 

CBSE Board 10th results 2025 have been declared today. As per the statistics, compared to the previous year's girls' performance has improved, whereas boys' performance has seen a minor decline in pass percentage. For transgender students, the pass percentage improved drastically this year.

The steps to calculate the CBSE class 10th percentage 2025 are as follows.

• Add all your grade points from the top 5 subjects.
• Divide the total by 5, the result is your CGPA
• For a percentage, multiply by the overall CGPA by 9.5

For example, if your grade points for five main subjects are: 9, 8, 9, 9, and 7, then:

• Add all grade points: 9+8+9+9+7 = 42
• Divide by 5, that is, 42/5
• CGPA will be 8.4
• Convert it to a percentage, multiply the overall CGPA by 9.5: 8.4 x 9.5 = 79.80%

• KV: 99.45%
• Private: 94.17%
• STSS: 91.53%
• Govt aided: 83.94%
• Govt: 89.26%

As per the sources, the CBSE compartment exam 2025 will be held from mid-July. Students who have failed in one or two subjects can apply for the CBSE compartment exam 2025 once the application date is announced. 

CBSE board introduced the competency-based questions for only Class 12 students, however, several Class 10 students also claimed there were competency-based questions in the board exams this year. The CBSE Board said the change in exam pattern and type of questions was brought in to help students prepare better for the exam. The board also uploaded several sample paper questions for all subjects on the official website for practice.

Overall class 10th CBSE pass percentage stood at 93.66%. Students who are able to secure at least 33% marks in each subject can apply for supplementary exams. Students who have failed in the class 10 board exams 2025 in one or more subjects will be able to appear for the supplementary exams.

Both Trivandrum and Vijayawada have secured the top position, marking an overall pass percentage of 99.79%. The CBSE board has declared the CBSE Class 10 results 2025 today.

The minister of education, Dharmendra Pradhan said the CBSE board exams are conducted in alignment with NEP 2025. He posted on his official X account and said: "CBSE Board exams are conducted in alignment with NEP 2020, with emphasis on competency-based assessment leveraging technology for accessibility and ease. CBSE results are available digitally on official website of @cbseindia29, DigiLocker and Umang app in addition to being available in schools."

As per the CBSE statistics, girls have outperformed boys by a difference of 2.37 point. 

The CBSE Board has declared the Class 10th results. The gender wise result statistics of qualifying students are as follows. 

Girls: 95.00%
Boys: 92.63%
Transgender: 95.00%

• Visit the CBSE DigiLocker website
• Click on ‘Get Started with Account Confirmation’. 
• Select your Class, provide the school code, and roll number, and enter the 6 Digit security PIN provided below. 
• Click on the ‘Next’ button.
• Basic details will be displayed on the screen like name and DOB. 
• Enter the CSBE-registered mobile number and the student’s DOB. 
• Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
• An OTP will be received, enter that OTP and finally click on the ‘Submit’ button to confirm your CBSE Digital locker account confirmation process.

As compared to the previous year, the overall pass percentage has increased by 0.06 points.

Trivandrum and Vijayawada has secured the top place, marking the overall pass percentage for all subjects to 99.79%

This year, a total of 23,85,079 students registered for the exam, and 23,71,939 appeared for it, out of which 22,21,636 qualified, the for the exam. 

The overall pass percentage is 93.66%, an increase of 0.06 points as compared to the previous year's results. 

CBSE board has declared the Class 10th results today, marking the pass percentage at 93.66%.

Students will be able to access their results soon using their login details, such as roll number, school number, and admit card ID to download.

The CBSE Class 10th supplementary exam will be conducted in the first or second week of July 2025, and it will be held on the same syllabus as the main exams 2025 were held. 

Recently, the board issued a six-digit access code for DigiLocker accounts of students. CBSE instructed schools to download the code and distribute it among students so that they can access their results and marksheets once out.

The steps to download the UMANG CBSE Result Class 10th is as follows.

• Download the UMANG app or visit www.umang.gov.in.
• Create an account using your phone number and login.
• After that, go to “All services”.
• Click on the “10th result” tab.
• Enter your admit card ID, roll number, year, Class and other required information.
• Check your result carefully and download the CBSE 10th marksheet for future reference

The first step is to create UMANG ID to check your Class 10th results. Follow the steps given below to create UMANG ID. 

• Open the Google Play Store on your phone.
• Search for UMANG- Unified Mobile Application for New-Age Governance.
• Install the UMANG app.
• Open the app and register using the UMANG Class 10 result 2025
• Enter your mobile number and Aadhaar details.
• Create a four-digit Mobile Personal Identification Number (MPIN).
• To complete the process, set a username and password for the UMANG account.
