NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CBSE Class 10 result 2025 today, May 13. The overall pass percentage for CBSE 10th is 93.66%. This year, girls outshine boys, marking a pass percentage of 95% and boys at 92.63%. The CBSE 10th results 2025 were first made accessible on DigiLocker, UMANG website at umangresults.digilocker.gov.in.

Students who appeared for the Class 10 board exams can also check their CBSE 10th result 2025 on the official website, cbse.gov.in or results.cbse.nic.in.
Students can check their CBSE Class 10 result 2025 online by using their roll number and date of birth as login credentials. The board has recently issued a six-digit access code and instructed schools to download it and share it with candidates, enabling them to access their CBSE 10th marksheets and certificates.
The CBSE Class 10 marksheets will include key details such as the student’s name, father’s and mother’s names, school name, subject names, roll number, name of the board, marks obtained, grades, and any remarks. A total of 24.12 lakh Class 10 students participated in the CBSE 10th board exams 2025, which were held across 84 subjects from February 15 to March 18.
The board has revised the sequence of post-result procedures for the Class 10 and Class 12 exams 2025. Under the updated process, students will first have to obtain a photocopy of their evaluated answer sheets. Only after receiving the photocopy can they apply for verification and re-evaluation.

The CBSE is yet to announce the date for the supplementary exams. However, according to official reports, the supplementary exam date sheet is expected to be released in mid-July.

Aahana Parija emerged as one of the CBSE Class 10 toppers 2025 in SAI International School with 99.2%, followed by Harsh Agarwall with 98.8%, securing the second position. The third rank was jointly held by Anushka Panda, Vallabh Sairaman Agrawalla, and Swagat Mohapatro, each scoring 98.6%. All students scored above 60%, with 21.72% securing above 95 percent, 59.22% scoring above 90 percent, and 93.23% achieving more than 75 percent, resulting in an impressive school average of 88.82%.
The overall pass percentage stands at 93.66 per cent, reflecting an increase of 0.06 percentage points from the previous year. This improvement indicates a slight upward trend in the overall results compared to last year.

This year, CBSE conducted exams at 26,675 schools across the country. The CBSE board decided to implement a CCTV surveillance facility at all the schools conducting the board exams. In each of the exam centre, one person was responsible for 10 rooms or 240 students to continuously monitor and ensure fair conduct during the exam, as per the board's guidelines.

Kaavya Mathur has secured the top position with 98.2% marks from ITL Public School, Dwarka. A total of 34% students secured 90% and above marks, while 80% of students secured 80% and above marks. As per ITL Public School Dwarka, 10 students have secured 100 marks in four subjects. The school's average pass percentage is 88%. Additionally, 100% of students passed with first division exam.

While Kerala and Andhra Pradesh remain in the top spot with the highest pass percentage, Karnataka's position improved compared to the previous year by 1.95 points. However, Tamil Nadu's position dropped this year by 0.19 points.

The minister of education, Dharmendra Pradhan said the CBSE board exams are conducted in alignment with NEP 2025. He posted on his official X account and said: "CBSE Board exams are conducted in alignment with NEP 2020, with emphasis on competency-based assessment leveraging technology for accessibility and ease. CBSE results are available digitally on official website of @cbseindia29, DigiLocker and Umang app in addition to being available in schools."
