NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the CBSE Class 10 science paper today from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. Students who are appearing in the major subject will have to carry the hall ticket to the exam hall to be allowed entry. The CBSE Class 10 science exam 2024 will be held for a total duration of 3 hours. The question paper will carry 80 marks consisting of 39 questions in 5 sections.
As per the exam pattern, section A will consist of 20 objective-type questions carrying 1 mark each and section B will have 6 very short questions carrying 2 marks each; answers to these questions should range between 30 to 50 words.
Section C of the question paper will have 7 short answer type questions carrying 3 marks each and should be answered in the range of 50 to 80 words. Section D consists of 3 long answer type questions carrying 5 marks each to be answered in the range of 80 to 120 words. The last section will have 3 source-based or case-based units of assessment of 4 marks each with sub-parts.
