CBSE Board Exam 2025 Live: Class 10 Hindi paper begins; passing marks, difficulty level, section-wise analysis

CBSE has announced free psycho-social counselling to support Class 10 and 12 students during their exam period. The counselling sessions will be conducted in two phases—one before the CBSE board exam 2025 begins and the other after the results are declared. For the academic year 2025, counselling services for students and parents will be available till April 4, 2025.

The CBSE Class 10 board results 2025 will be announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on May 13. Students can check their results on the official websites—cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in. To access their results, they must enter their roll number, date of birth, school ID, and CBSE board exam admit card details.

The CBSE Class 10 exams 2025 offer a total of 84 subjects. As per the passing criteria, students must secure a minimum of 33% in aggregate to qualify. Additionally, they need to score at least 33% separately in both practical and theory exams to pass.

The CBSE Class 10 board exam 2025 guidelines are as follows:

• Students must wear their school uniform on exam days.
• Entry to the exam hall will not be permitted after 10 am.
• An additional 15 minutes will be given before the exam begins for reading the question paper.
• Electronic items, including mobile phones, wallets, earphones, smartwatches, and calculators, are strictly prohibited.
• No food items are allowed inside the exam hall.
• Students cannot carry sophisticated pouches or pencil boxes.
• Carrying the CBSE admit card 2025 and school ID is mandatory.
• Students must reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam starts.
• Candidates should report to their assigned room and sit in their designated seats.
• All rough work must be done on the writing pad provided by the invigilator.
• Candidates must follow all instructions given by the invigilator.

The CBSE Class 10 board exam 2025 for Hindi paper is scheduled to take place today from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The grading system for the exam is as follows.

CBSE Class 10 Hindi exam 2025 will be conducted for 3 hours. The CBSE Class 10 Hindi A exam will have four sections, carrying 80 marks in total. The table below shows the section-wise marks distribution in the Hindi A paper.

More than 24 lakh students will appear for the CBSE Class 10 Hindi exam 2025 today, scheduled from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Students should arrive at the exam hall before the gates close at 10 am. 

Students appearing for the CBSE Class 10 Hindi exam 2025 today, must carry their CBSE admit card, school ID, necessary stationery in a transparent pouch and a transparent water bottle, if required. Electronic gadgets, smartwatches, books, and calculators (unless permitted) are strictly prohibited.

The CBSE Class 10 Hindi A paper 2025 carries a total of 100 marks, with 80 marks assigned to the annual board theory exam and 20 marks to the internal assessment.

To pass the CBSE Class 10 Hindi board exam, students must score a minimum of 33% marks.
