CBSE Class 10 Term 1 Science Exam 2021-22 Live Updates: Unofficial answer key released

Yesterday, the CBSE Board has conducted the CBSE 10th Social Science paper. As per the students'TH response, the question paper was balanced. The question paper level was easy to moderate. 

As the CBSE Board Class 10 2021-22 term 1 Science exam has been concluded now, so students must start preparing for the next examination. The next exam is of home science. The exam will start at 11:30 am. 

"A good number of questions were asked from both physics and chemistry. The question from Physics was mostly numerical-based. A question on electron dot diagram in chemistry is a bit challenging for students," said Vimmi Baleja, TGT Science, Mount Abu Public School.

The vice-principal of an RPVV, Delhi said that the complete exam process was smooth and there is no issue in conducting the CBSE exam apart from the CBSE app. There are a total of 3 steps to complete but the app got stuck on step 1.

After the term 1 exams, CBSE Board will not release the result as pass, fail or essential repeat at the end of term 1. The board will announce the final CBSE 10th result 2022 after the term 2 examination. 

In the CBSE 10th Class science exam 2021-22, the MCQ questions were asked NCERT based and there were no such difficulties in solving the paper, said Akshay Gupta, a Kendriya Vidyalaya student. 

Seema Behl, Principal, Brain International School said that the students found paper balanced and easy. She added that the science paper had NCERT based questions. Students who have covered the activity corner of the NCERT books, must have got the benefit of it.

Today, the boar has conducted the science subject exam which was the second exam among major subjects. The next exam of Class 10 CBSE is Home science which will be held tomorrow on December 3, 2021. 

The science paper of CBSE Class 10 had a total of 60 questions out of them, a student need to attempt 50 questions.

Section-wise question distribution

• Section A has 24 questions. Attempt any 20 questions.
• Section B has 24 questions. Attempt any 20 questions.
• Section C has 12 questions. Attempt any 10 questions.

Respective exam centres are provided with CBSE class 10 science question paper 2021 with answers and they check the OMR sheets of students. For social science exam on November 30, 2021,  the OMR sheets of Classes 10, 12 were checked at 13,357 centres across the globe. The CBSE Class 10 minor exam has been commenced on November 17, 2021. The exams will conclude on December 7, 2021. The last exam will be of Carnatic Music (Vocal), Carnatic Music (Mel Ins), Carnatic Music (Per Ins).

The next CBSE Class 10 exam is tomorrow on December 3, 2021, for Home Science. The home Science paper will be divided into three sections- A, B and C. The exam duration will be 90 minutes.

Central Board of Secondary Education uses a 'geo-tagged and time-tagged' mobile application to keep a check on the exam conducting process. In 2020, CBSE has introduced selfies in the CBSE mobile app. Centre superintendents are required to upload a selfie during the crucial exam conducting stages. 

According to a Delhi government teacher, the app which is used by the board to track the various exam-related processes is not working properly.

The CBSE 10th term 1 exams 2022 are MCQ based. The answers are to be filled in the OMR sheets. Below are some important guidelines for students related to the CBSE OMR sheet. 

• Use only blue or black in pen in OMR sheet. 

• Do not write or scribble anything on the OMR sheet.
