The CBSE Class 12 economics exam 2024 will be held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm for a duration of three hours. Students must carry their carry their CBSE Class 12 admit card 2024 to the examination centre. The CBSE Class 12 admit card is a mandatory document for the examination day. Students who fail to carry their admit cards will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

The CBSE Class 12 Economics paper will have maximum mark of 80 marks. The paper will divided into two sections: Indian Economic Development and Macroeconomics. There will be 20 multiple-choice questions in the class 12 Economics sample paper, each worth one mark.
There will be four questions with short responses. Students must respond to each short answer question with a maximum of 60–80 words and with three marks. Each of the six short answer questions is worth four marks. Written answers to these questions should be between 80 and 100 words long. The paper will have four long answer questions type questions of six marks each that should be answered in 100 to 150 words.
Over 39 lakh students are appearing for the CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams this year. CBSE Class 10 exams ended on March 13, and Class 12 exams will conclude on April 2.
