NEW DELHI: Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will go live today at 4 pm to address concerns about cancelled CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams . He will be interacting with students to clarify doubts via social media platforms.

The Education Minister tweeted about this interaction with the students yesterday on his official Twitter handle. “I will be interacting with dear students tomorrow at 4 PM to discuss their concerns and queries related to evaluation of CBSE board exams. If you have any doubts or suggestions, you may share them through Twitter or Facebook by the afternoon of June 25, 2021,” he said.

According to the evaluation criteria, CBSE Class 12 students will be evaluated by adding 30% marks of best three subjects of Class 10, 30% marks of Class 11, and 40% marks of unit test, mid-term or pre-board exams of Class 12. Whereas, CBSE Class 10 students will be evaluated on the marks scored in different tests/exams conducted by the school in the course of the year.
The board is expected to release the CBSE Class 10 result by July 20 and Class 12 result by July 31, 2021.
On April 14, 2021, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had cancelled the CBSE 10th board exam 2021. After that, in a high-level meeting with PM Narendra Modi , the board also called off the CBSE 12th board exam 2021 on June 1, 2021, due to the worsening situation of COVID-19 in the country.

CBSE optional exam to be conducted in August: Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank
Students who are not satisfied with the marks obtained through CBSE evaluation criteria will be allowed to appear in the examination in August, 2021, if situation allows. He further added, we consider our students safety, health and future as our priority.
