NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Class 12 economics paper tomorrow, March 18, 2024. The exam for the CBSE Class 12 economics will be held from 10:30 am for a duration of three hours till 1:30 pm. The format of the question paper for the CBSE Class 12 exams 2024 will likely be as per the sample paper provided at cbse.gov.in website. CBSE Class 12 Economics LIVE

Students appearing for the examination should bring their CBSE Class 12 admit card to the exam centre. Candidates should also adhere to all the guidelines specified on the admit card. Students should check the CBSE Class 12 syllabus and marking scheme through the official academic website, cbseacademic.nic.in.

The CBSE Class 12 economics sample question paper 2024 carries two sections including macroeconomics (Section A) and Indian economic development (Section B). The economics question paper will consist of 20 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark. Additionally, there will be four short-answer type questions, each carrying three marks and the answer is expected to be 60 to 80 words.

Moreover, the CBSE Class 12 economics sample paper will include six short-answer questions, each carrying four marks, with answers expected in 80 to 100 words. CBSE Class 12 economics 2024 will also carry four long answer questions type questions of six marks each to be answered in 100 to 150 words.

CBSE Class 12 Economics Paper: Weightage

The CBSE Class 12 economics paper carries 100 questions divided into two parts. The first part carries theory-based questions which carry 80 marks and the second part carries project questions that carry 20 marks.
