CBSE Class 12 exams clash with Holi on March 22; will board revise date sheet?

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published the CBSE board exam 2027 date sheet for Class 10 and 12 students on November 6. CBSE Class 10 exams will begin on February 16, 2027, and end on March 9, 2027. Meanwhile, the CBSE Class 12 exams will also begin on February 16 but continue until April 9.

The recent CBSE Class 12 board examination schedule 2027 has drawn attention after five subject papers are scheduled on March 22, which coincides with Holi. This has raised questions among students and parents about whether the CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2027 will be revised to avoid a clash with the festival.

According to the published timetable, examinations for Knowledge Tradition and Practices of India, Bhoti, Kokborok, Banking and Electronics Technology are scheduled for Monday, March 22, 2027. All five papers will be conducted in the morning shift, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

CBSE Class 12 exams on Holi 2027: Subject-wise details

The five subjects scheduled for March 22, along with their respective subject codes, are:

• Knowledge Tradition and Practices of India – 073
• Bhoti - 188
• Kokborok - 191
• Banking - 811
• Electronics Technology - 820

Students who will be appearing for these subjects should check their examination details and make the necessary arrangements in advance. The CBSE Class 12 board examinations 2027 are scheduled to conclude on April 9.

As of now, CBSE has not announced any revision to the March 22 examination dates. Students must follow the published timetable and regularly check the official website, cbse.gov.in, for updates. Any changes to the examination schedule will only be shared through an official notification from the board.
