CBSE Class 12 supplementary results 2026 out; 53.08% students pass

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 12 Compartment (Supplementary) Examination Result 2026. Around 2.5 lakh students who appeared for the July 28 examination can now check and download their scorecards by visiting the official result portal, cbseresults.nic.in. To check marksheets candidates will have to log in using their roll number, date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY) format, and the security pin displayed on the screen. CBSE Class 12 supply result LIVE updates.

The Class 12 compartment examination for all the three streams, Science, Commerce and Arts was conducted on July 28. CBSE 12th practical exams for all streams will be held from July 29 to August 4 and board directed schools to upload marks on the board's portal on the same day of examination.

CBSE Class 12 compartment results 2026: Steps to check

Students can access their results by following these steps:

• Go to the official CBSE result website, cbseresults.nic.in
• On homepage, click on the link for "Senior School Certificate Supplementary Examination (Class XII) Result 2026."
• Enter the required login credentials, including roll number, school number, admit card ID, and the security code an click on submit
• CBSE Class 12 compartment result will appear on the screen
• Download and print the scorecard for future references

Students must know that the scorecard is provisional in nature. They will have to collect their original mark sheets and passing certificates from their respective schools later. Private candidates can also access their results through the official CBSE result portal. Students can also access their digital marksheets through DigiLocker. Scorecards uploaded on DigiLocker can be used for admission and verification purposes wherever accepted.

The board conducts supplementary or compartment exam every year for students to qualify in subjects they could not clear during the annual board examination. Candidates who successfully pass the compartment examination can proceed with higher education admissions.

Students should also verify all details mentioned on the scorecard, including their name, roll number, subject-wise marks, qualifying status, and other personal information. In case of any discrepancy, candidates should immediately contact their respective schools or the CBSE regional office for rectification.

Before this, CBSE declared Class 12 re-evaluation results on June 21. Candidates who applied for re-evaluation and verification of 12th exam answer sheets were able to download the results through the digilocker’s official website at results.digilocker.gov.in. CBSE declared the results of the Class 12 examinations 2026 on May 13, 2026 for approximately 17.69 lakh candidates.
