NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced a facial recognition system for students. This system will allow students to access their digital academic documents of Class 10 and 12. This application will match the human faces with the already stored digital images, through which students can easily get their documents from the system.

With the help of this state of the art Facial Recognition System, the live image of the students will be matched with the already saved image of the students from the CBSE admit card. Once both the images get successfully matched, the educational documents will be sent to the students via email. This Facial recognition application is available on “Parniaam Manjusha” and Digi Locker at https://digilocker.gov.in/cbse-certificate.html. Students can access their 2020 certificates from the same. This feature will be really beneficial for the students who can not access Digi Locker due to some reasons like non-availability of Adhaar card, wrong phone numbers, etc.

CBSE has already stored approx 12 Crore academic documents in the Digilocker for easy access by a student. Students can collect their mark sheets of Class 10 and 12, passing certificates, migration certificates, and other documents from the Digilocker.
