“The pandemic situation across the country has forced schools to remain closed even in the first quarter of the academic session 2021-22. Due to the prevailing uncertainty, there is a possibility that schools may not be able to conduct all internal assessment/practical/ project work associated with various subjects in schools”, reads the CBSE statement.

It further stated that the internal assessment for Classes 9, 10 will be carried out according to the existing scheme across the year except that their assessment will be done twice and both will contribute equally to the overall assessment.

This year, CBSE cancelled the Class 10 and 12 exams. The board will release online cbseresults.nic.in result 2021 as per the alternative assessment scheme. As per the criteria, CBSE Class 12 students will be evaluated based on 30% marks of the best three subjects of Class 10, 30% marks of Class 11, and 40% marks of unit test, mid-term or pre-board exams. CBSE Class 10 students will be evaluated on the marks scored in different tests/exams conducted by the school in the course of the year.
