CBSE warns schools against edtech firm using its name to secure tenders, contracts

Wizcorp Edtech Pvt Ltd used a false CBSE letter to secure government tenders and contracts from schools in Maharashtra.
NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an urgent advisory to all schools and educational institutions in Maharashtra today, warning against fraudulent activities conducted by Wizcorp Edtech Pvt Ltd.
The company has been falsely using a false letter issued by CBSE to secure government tenders and contracts from schools in the state.

CBSE has firmly stated that it has no association whatsoever with the letter being circulated by Wizcorp Edtech Pvt Ltd. The said letter has never been issued by CBSE, and any claims or representations made by the company or its representatives suggesting otherwise are fraudulent and misleading, it clarifed.
Schools and educational institutions are being cautioned by the board while dealing with Wizcorp Edtech Pvt Ltd. The Board has said that it will not be responsible for any financial losses or other damages incurred as a result of considering or accepting this fake and counterfeit letter. CBSE said that it will be taking legal action against the company for its deceptive practices and dissemination of fabricated documents.

An official statement from the board read, “The CBSE shall be actively pursuing legal action against Wizcorp Edtech Pvt Ltd for misleading and circulating fabricated counterfeit letter.”
This advisory serves as a public notice to raise awareness and protect the educational community from falling victim to such fraudulent schemes. CBSE urges all educational institutions to verify the authenticity of any documents received from Wizcorp Edtech Pvt Ltd and report any suspicious activities immediately.
