CCMT 2023: Application for centralised counselling for MTech, MArch, MPlan in NITs, IIITs opens

NEW DELHI: The Centralised Counselling for MTech, MArch and MPlan admissions has started today, June 7. The registration is for admission to postgraduate admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur, West Bengal, some Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and government-funded technical institutes (GFTIs) for the 2023 session. NIT Kurukshetra will be conducting CCMT 2023.
The centralised counselling for MTech, MArch, MPlan and MDes programme, or CCMT, is a common platform for candidates to apply for the postgraduate programmes on the basis of the GATE scores of 2020, 2021 and 2023.
Candidates will have to register and select their institutions of choice at the CCMT website. The CCMT process includes registration, filling up of CCMT application form, uploading GATE scores, submission of application form of CCMT, payment of application fee and selection of institutes. The CCMT registration process will be followed by seat allotment, document verification and final seat acceptance by the candidate.
CCMT 2023: Minimum Qualification

Candidates should have a valid GATE score in 2021, 2022, 2023

They should have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60%, or 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates

Candidates possessing certificates/ qualifications from professional societies including Institution of Engineers (India) (IE), Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, including Polymer and Environmental Group (IIChemE), Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), Indian Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), etc. ) and have enrolled with these institutions with permanent recognition may also be eligible to participate in some of the PG programs through CCMT
