CDAC C CAT Application Form 2026: Candidates have to pay Rs 1,550 for course category II (papers A+B) and Rs 1,750 for course category III (papers A+B+C).
The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) has started the Computerized Common Admission Test (C-CAT 2026) registration process today, November 27. Candidates can apply for CDAC C CAT 2026 on the official website, cdac.in, by December 29.

Candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 1,550 for course category II (papers A+B) and Rs 1,750 for course category III (papers A+B+C) to complete the registration process.
As per the schedule, the CDAT C-CAT February 2026 will be held on January 10 and 11, and the admit card will be issued between January 6 and 10. The duration of the exam is one hour.

Candidates who have completed a graduate degree in engineering or technology in IT, computer science, electronics, telecommunications, electrical, or instrumentation with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to apply for CDAC C-CAT 2026.
There is no age restriction to apply for CDAC’s PG certificate programmes.

Follow the steps below to complete the CDAC C-CAT 2026 application form.
- Visit the official website at cdac.in.
- Register by entering your basic details to create login credentials.
- Enter your personal and academic details in the application form.
- Upload the required documents and photograph.
- Pay the application fee online.
- After successful payment, select the exam date.
CDAC C-CAT exam pattern
The CDAC C-CAT 2026 paper consists of three sections, with section A covering English, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, computer fundamentals, and programming concepts.
Section B covers C programming, data structures, object-oriented programming concepts using C++, operating systems, networking, and the basics of big data and artificial intelligence.
Section C consists of topics such as computer architecture, digital electronics, and microprocessors.

The C-CAT 2026 ranks will be announced on January 22. CDAC’s postgraduate certificate programmes are 24-week full-time courses comprising 1,200 hours, including 300 hours of self-study. The batch for PG diploma programmes will commence on February 25.
