CDS 2 2021 exam begins; Strict checking at test centre entry gates, late comers not allowed

CDS 2 2021 exam has commenced for the IMA, INA, AFA and OTA courses. It was observed at the test centres of CDS that the authorities strictly checked the documents and ensured that the COVID 19 protocol was followed.
NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting the CDS 2 2021 exam today across various centres in India. In order to avoid any untoward incident and ensure that the CDS exam is conducted in a free and transparent manner, the officials and guards at the exam centres thoroughly checked the admit card of the candidates. At the test centres the guard was seen asking the candidates to follow the COVID 19 protocol and maintain social distancing.

Some of the candidates who had arrived just at the time when the gate was closed, were not allowed to appear for the exam. Applicants who have been issued the CDS 2 2021 admit card are only eligible to appear for the CDS exam.
Guidelines followed at the CDS Exam Centres
All those appearing for the CDS exam were expected to go through the UPSC CDS exam day instructions that were mentioned on the question paper. Also candidates were asked to listen to the instructions with regard to their behavior in the exam hall. Any misbehaviour or indulgence in malpractices was supposed to be dealt strictly inside the exam hall.
Applicants must stay calm, hydrated and focused inorder to crack the CDS 2021 exam .
Objective of the CDS 2021 Exam
The UPSC CDS 2021 exam is being conducted to fill 339 vacancies in IMA, INA, AFA and OTA. The CDS 2 2021 exam is scheduled to be over by 5 PM for the IMA, INA, AFA courses and by 2 PM for OTA courses.
The Union Public Service Commission conducts the CDS exam twice every year. The CDS selection process has two stages - written exam (multiple choice questions) and SSB interview. Applicants clearing both stages will be inducted in any one of the courses based on their preference and merit. The CDS 2 2021 exam analysis and expected cutoff will also be released by Careers360 soon after the conclusion of the UPSC CDS exam 2021.
