CDS 2 admit card 2018 available now; download till November 18

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 25: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit card of Combined Defence Services (CDS) 2 written exam on October 25, 2018 online. CDS 2 written exam is scheduled to be conducted on November 18, 2018. The candidates can download the admit card till the day of examination.
In order to download the admit card of CDS 2 from the official website candidates have to either enter their registration number or roll number. Candidates must check all details specified in the admit card after downloading the same.
In case of mistakes in CDS admit card , candidates have to contact the conducting body immediately to make the required changes. Candidates will have to carry at least one photo identity proof - Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID Card along with the admit card to the examination centre for verification.
Details like candidate’s name, exam date, name of exam centre, date of birth, exam time, address of exam centre, roll number, reporting time, city, photograph and signature are available on the admit card. As per the exam pattern of CDS 2, the candidates appearing for admission to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy courses have to appear for three subjects i.e. English, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics.
The candidates appearing for admission to Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) courses will have to appear in two papers - English and General Knowledge. Each paper will be conducted for 100 marks and candidates will be given 2 hours to answer each paper. As per the marking scheme, for each correct answer candidates will score 1 mark while 0.33 marks will be deducted for wrong answers. Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for SSB Interview.
