NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) will today release the CEED 2024 result on the official website, ceed.iitb.ac.in/2024. Students clearing the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED 2024) will be eligible for admission into various postgraduate programmes in Indian institutes of technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru and other participating colleges.
The final CEED 2024 score will be calculated by giving 25% weightage to marks obtained in Part-A and 75% weightage to Part-B. The IIT Bombay said the mean and standard deviation for Part-A of CEED 2024 are 41.90 and 16.72, respectively. The CEED 2024 score card will be available for download from March 11 and it is valid for one year from the date of declaration of the result.
Exam pattern
Part-A of CEED 2024 contained objective questions of three types – numerical answer type (NAT), multiple-choice question (MCQ) and multiple-select question (MSQ). This part is designed to evaluate visual and spatial ability, environmental and social awareness, analytical and logical reasoning, language, observation and design sensitivity of the candidates.

The Part-B of CEED 2024 consists of five questions, which test design, drawing and writing skills. The questions in Part-B will be displayed on the computer screen and the student had to write the answers in the answer book provided by the invigilator.
The UCEED-CEED office, IIT Bombay, will share the candidate information with the result sharing institutes. The institute will not provide information regarding the criteria for postgraduate admission for the participating institutes. Students will have to visit the websites of the respective institutes regarding the postgraduate design programmes. Any queries in this matter to the UCEED-CEED Office, IIT Bombay will not be entertained.
