CG PET 2018 result declared; final answers keys also released

NEW DELHI, MAY 19: Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB), which is the exam conducting authority, has released the result of CG PET 2018 today. Candidates can check results online by entering their roll number. Along with the result, exam authorities have also released the list of top ten candidates. The exam is topped by Satwik Banchhor from Bhilai, Durg. He scored 133.568 marks out of 150.

The final answer key of the exam, which was held in offline mode on May 3, is also out for all the four paper sets – A, B, C and D. Candidates can download the answer keys by going to the CPEB website and by clicking on the answer key link; no log-in is required. Using the answer keys, candidates will be able to calculate their scores and match them with the declared result. If there is a discrepancy, the candidate should contact exam authorities immediately for correction. The provisional answer key, for the record, was released on May 11.

How to check the result

To check their results, the candidates have to follow the steps listed here:

  • Go to the CPEB website

  • Click on the result link

  • Log-in to the result portal using your roll number

  • The result will be displayed on screen on successful log-in

Download and take a printout of the result sheet.

How to download the answer key

  • Go the CPEB website

  • Click of CG PET 2018 final answer key link

  • The answer key will be displayed in downloadable pdf format. No log-in will be required.

Post-result events

Based on the results, the admission authorities will prepare a merit list to shortlist candidates for counselling and seat allotment. The counselling will be conducted online as per the merit rank of the candidate. It may be noted that CPEB will conduct separate counselling for JEE Main and CG PET qualified candidates. The counselling schedule has not been announced yet, but it is expected to take place in around the 1st week of June.

The counselling process will include following steps:

  • Online registration

  • Payment of counselling fee

  • Filling and locking of choices

  • Verification of documents

  • Seat allotment
