Chitkara University offers ME in CSE in collaboration with Virtusa

NEW DELHI: In this technology era, there is a rising demand for consumer applications, both on web as well as mobile platforms. This will result in increased demand for ‘Full Stack Developers’ in the market. In order to abridge this gap of demand and supply, Chitkara University has offered a 2 year Master’s programme in Computer Science and Engineering in collaboration with the global IT giant, Virtusa in full stack web development.
About the Programme
Under this 2 year Master in Engineering programme of Chitkara University, candidates will be taught the know-hows of full stack web development. In the second year, they will be interning at Virtusa or other blue-chip companies, applying what they learnt and be exposed to industry’s best practices. The 1-year of internship with Virtusa will provide students with a real-time exposure on client projects under the Tech-veterans at Virtusa. They will also have an opportunity to specialise in internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Blockchain, Python and Micro apps under this programme, all of which are highly demanded industry skills.
With mentoring and placement support after the programme in a personalized manner, the graduates will have job opportunities ranging from front end developer, app developer, web developer, back-end developer, software engineer, full stack developer to mobile developer, etc.
About ‘Full Stack Developer’
In recent times, the profile of full stack developer has emerged as a much demanded job in recent times. There are approximately 1.2 lakh job opportunities in the industry looking for skilled and talented professionals. Full stack developers are trained to spearhead the wholesome development (front-end as well as back-end) for products and applications, especially in product-based companies. They are equipped to lead the entire project and save the company’s precious time and resources. Also, these professionals can work while being a part of a small team and still offer end-to-end solutions which catapulted their demand in the industry.
