Chitkara University, Springer Nature launch journal on technology and sustainable development

NEW DELHI : Chitkara University, in collaboration with Springer Nature, a leading global research publisher, launched a journal on ‘Transformative Technologies and Sustainable Development’ with a focus on research. The new journal aims to be a premier platform for cutting-edge research in technology and sustainability development and addresses some of the most pressing challenges the world is facing, added the official statement.
The journal aims to focus on high-quality, peer-reviewed research in areas such as – renewable energy, climate change mitigation, circular economy, smart cities, and sustainable agriculture, the note added.
As per the official notice, the journal is now open for submissions. Researchers from across various disciplines are encouraged to contribute to this new publication, which promises to shape the future of sustainable innovation.

Chitkara University: Participants at launch
The event was attended by prominent participants from Chitkara University and Springer Nature. The guest members included – Madhu Chitkara, pro-chancellor of Chitkara University; Fiona McKenzie, vice president of Springer Journals; Suvira Srivastava and Teena Bedi from Springer Nature; Rajnish Sharma, vice chancellor of Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh; Amit Mittal, pro-vice-chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab; and Sagar Juneja.
The vice president of Springer Journals, Fiona McKenzie, said: “We are thrilled to introduce this journal which will serve as a vital platform for advancing knowledge and driving progress toward a sustainable future.”
Madhu Chitkara also emphasised: “This journal is a reflection of Chitkara University’s dedication to research that not only advances academic knowledge but also drives practical solutions for global challenges. I commend Rajnish Sharma, our editor-in-chief, alongside Amit Mittal (section editor) and Sagar Juneja (associate editor), for their visionary leadership in shaping this initiative.”
