CLAT 2021 results to be declared tomorrow; Here is all you need to know

Download EbookNEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will declare the result of the pen-and-paper based CLAT 2021 exam tomorrow, July 28, 2021. The results would be released separately for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the form of consolidated merit lists, which will contain the names of appeared candidates, their section and overall marks, and All India Rank (AIR) and category ranks.

The CLAT 2021 exam was conducted on July 23, 2021 , for admission to 5-year integrated LLB and one-year LLM courses offered by the 22 participating NLUs.
Individual CLAT 2021 scorecards will also be released and candidates may download and take printouts for future reference. The CLAT scorecard 2021 will be required at the time of counselling and seat allotment.
Note, while no login is required to download the consolidated merit lists, individual scorecards can only be downloaded after login.
CLAT result 2021: How to download Consolidated Merit Lists

Go to the official website - onsortiumofnlus.ac.in

If the result is declared, the Consolidated Merit List tab will be displayed in the “Notifications” bar

Click on the Merit List you want to download (UG or PG)

The Consolidated Merit List for the chosen programme will open in downloadable PDF format

Download and take a printout of the list.
How to check your result in the Consolidated Merit List
To find your results in the list, follow the instructions listed below.

Open the merit list PDF

Now type “Ctrl-F”

Type your CLAT 2021 admit card number and then click Enter

Your result would appear highlighted in the list

How to download CLAT 2021 scorecard
Each scorecard will contain individual-specific result data. This means one scorecard will be different from the other. Here is how you can download the CLAT scorecard.

A login window will open

Enter candidate login credentials

On login, the CLAT 2021 scorecard will be displayed on the screen

Download and take a printout of the result.

The CLAT 2021 scorecard would contain the following exam information.

Invitation for CLAT counselling 2021
The consortium will prepare open and category-wise CLAT 2021 merit lists considering marks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam. These merit lists will be used to shortlist and send invitations to candidates for CLAT 2021 counselling.
The consortium has said that the number of candidates that will be invited for CLAT counselling will be around five times the seat intake capacity for each category. It will publish the invite list for UG and PG programmes on its official website on July 29, which is the very next day after the declaration of CLAT results.
CLAT 2021 counselling process
The NLU Consortium will conduct centralized counselling for the 22 participating NLUs. As part of the CLAT counselling process, invite-list candidates will have to get registered, pay the counselling fee, and select NLUs. Check the step-wise process below.

Registration - Invite-list candidates need to get registered using their candidate and result credentials, and enter NLU preferences in the order of priority. Also, pay the counselling fee of Rs. 50,000

Seat allotment - The consortium will make seat allotments in five rounds. Allotments will be done considering CLAT merit rank 2021 and NLU preference opted by candidates.

Post-seat allotment options - Once a seat has been allotted, candidates have three options before them: 1) accept the seat, 2) Opt for an upgrade (not available for the last seat allotment round), 3) exit the admission process.
