NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the counselling instructions for CLAT 2022. Candidates can now check their status on their CLAT login to know if they have received an invitation or not. Such candidates who have received invitations for CLAT 2022 counselling are advised to exercise at least five options while choosing the NLUs and submit the counselling fee. The CLAT counselling will be conducted from June 25 to July 13, 2022, in online mode.

The CLAT 2022 counselling fee is Rs 30,000 for general candidates and Rs. 20,000 for SC and ST candidates. Earlier, It had declared the CLAT 2022 result on June 24, 2022. The result of CLAT 2022 is available in the form of scorecards. Candidates can meanwhile download CLAT 2022 results by logging into the examination portal - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The CLAT result 2022 informs the candidates about their marks, all India rank and category rank.

CLAT 2022 was conducted on June 19, 2022, in 131 exam centres. The final answer key of CLAT 2022 was released on June 23, 2022. The list of toppers is given below.

Candidates included in the invite list will be eligible for counselling. Around 15,000 candidates are likely to be called for UG CLAT counselling and around 4,500 candidates may be invited for CLAT LLM counselling.
The Consortium of NLUs will release the consolidated CLAT 2022 merit lists during the counselling. The CLAT 2022 merit list will contain the marks and ranks of the candidates who appeared in the examination and have secured allotment.

The consortium has released the final answer key of CLAT 2022 at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates can use the final answer key of CLAT 2022 to calculate their final score. The consortium office received a total of 765 objections on 57 out of 150 questions from the CLAT UG. And, on 17 out of 120 Questions from CLAT LLM. The provisional answer key of CLAT 2022 was released on June 20, 2022.
Out of 60,895 registered candidates, 56472 candidates have appeared for CLAT 2022. The participating NLUs offer around 2,800 seats in 5-year LLB programme and around 850 seats in the LLM programme based on CLAT 2022 scores.

CLAT 2022 result has been declared on June 24, 2022, at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The registration for CLAT 2022 counselling has commenced, on June 25.
If any candidate exercises the exit option, he/she will lose his/her current allotment and will not be considered for allotment at any stage.
In suc case, candidates have to make the payment of requisite fee to the allotted university and upload the documents. Only after this, they will be considered for allotment in the next round.
For such candidates
By accepting the allotment, candidates will agree to accept seats. After this, no changed will be considered, even if a vacancy arises at a later stage.

The seat allotment for CLAT 2022 will be announced for all candidates who have registered for counselling and submitted the counselling fee.
After the allotment, candidates will have three options
After logging into the registered account, the CLAT counselling registration process can be done in two steps.
STEP – 1 Update NLU preferences
Candidates are advised to give at least five preferences.
STEP – 2 Complet counselling fee payment of Rs. 30,000 (Rs. 20,000 in case of SC/ST/OBC/BC/EWS/PWD candidates)
The payment can be made in online mode only, from the counselling portal.
Wait for the first allotment list which will be released on June 30, 2022.
All candidates are advised to login to the consortium website and check if they have been invited for counselling. Additionally, an email/sms will be sent to all eligible candidates inviting them for counselling. Candidates who have received an invitation can log in to their CLAT account and register for the counselling process.

Login to your registered mobile number and password.
Click on the “Download admit card” link.
The AILET admit card 2022 will appear on the screen.
Download and take a printout of the AILET 2022 admit card for future reference
Candidates can download AILET admit card 2022 by logging into their registered accounts at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
AILET 2022 will be conducted in June 26, 2022.

As per the consortium, it will invite 5 times the number of available seats in each category. This means around 15,000 candidates are likely to be invited for counselling. The available seats are more than 2800 for UG programmes.
For CLAT LLM, around 4,500 candidates will be invited. The NLUs offer a combined intake of 850+ seats in LLM programmes.
The consortium will release the invite list for CLAT 2022 today, June 25, 2022. The invite list will contain the names, rank and marks of all candidates who have been shortlisted for the counselling and seat allotment rounds.
The CLAT 2022 counselling will be conducted from June 25, 2022 to July 20, 2022.

There is no specified passing marks in CLAT 2022. The Consortium releases the qualifying marks in CLAT 2022, candidates who have scored the qualifying marks and whose name comes in the CLAT 2022 merit list will be called by NLUs for futher CLAT 2022 counselling process.

In case the candidate finds some discrepancies in his/her CLAT result, he/she will have the opportunity to file a grievance. The consortium will provide the grievance filing details once the CLAT 2022 result has been declared.

After appearing in the CLAT 2022, most candidates will have a common question in their minds - will they get the desired NLU with the marks they have scored? To get the answer, they should check the CLAT cut-offs. The cut-offs have their own significance as they set the minimum benchmark for admission to a given NLU
The Consortium of National Law Universities do not release the category-wise ranking along with the CLAT 2022 merit list. However, candidates can check category wise rank by downloading the scorecard of CLAT 2022.
The cut-offs for NLUs will depend on many factors including the following.
The total mark for the UG exam last year was 149. One question (question number 143) was dropped.
In CLAT 2021 results, only one candidate had managed to score 120 or more marks. However, in CLAT 2020 exams, three candidates scored 120 or more marks.
319 candidates secured NEGATIVE marks
38 candidates got ZERO marks
150 candidates got 100 or more marks
The candidate who secured the 200th rank got 98 marks. This means all candidates ranked below him also had a score of fewer than 100 marks.
100 or more marks: 150 candidates managed to secure 100 or more marks.
99.75 - 90 marks range: 385 candidates
89.75 - 80 marks range: 774 candidates.
0+ scores: 53145 candidates managed to score 0.25 marks or above
Highest marks: 125.5
Lowest marks: -8.75
19.75 - 10 mark range: A maximum of 13, 344 candidates scored in this mark range.
When two or more candidates obtain the same score in CLAT 2022, merit rank is decided by following the steps given below:
Candidates who scored more marks in legal reasoning will be awarded higher ranking
In case of a further tie, the candidate older in age will be given preference
If the tie cannot be resolved then there will be a computerized draw of lots to rank the candidates.

The Oversight Committee met on June 23, 2022, and was chaired by Hon'ble Justice Mr. A.P. Sahi, Director, National Judicial Academy, Bhopal, and former Chief Justice of the High Courts of Madras and Patna.
The category wise merit list is prepared based on various categories such as OBC, SC and ST.
The general merit list is prepared based on scores and marks obtained in the CLAT 2022 exam.

The CLAT 2022 merit list will be prepared based on the general rank list and category rank list.
The consortium received 45 objections on 22 questions out of 120 questions of the PG question paper.
There were 138 objections on 1 question out of 30 questions in the Quantitative Technique section.
There were 372 objections raised on 20 questions out of 30 questions of the logical reasoning section.
There were 91 objections on 13 out of 40 questions in the CLAT 2022 legal reasoning section.
There were 9 objections to 9 questions on General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
There were 129 objections on 9 questions of the English section of CLAT 2022 answer key.
The consortium office received a total of 765 objections on 57 out of 150 questions and answer key from the UG and on 17 out of 120 questions and answer key for the pg questions from PG.
The portal to raise objections against the provisional answer key of CLAT 2022 closed at 3:30 pm on June 21, 2022.
The consortium published the master question booklet with provisional answer key on june 20, 2022 inviting objections on questions and answer key.
CLAT 2022 was conducted in 24 regional centres and 131 test centres.
Out of 60,895 registered candidates, 56472 candidates appeared for the CLAT 2022 exam. CLAT results 2022 have been declared for all the candidates who appeared in CLAT exam 2022.
CLAT 2022 was conducted on June 19, 2022.

The Consortium of NLUs will declare the CLAT result 2022 today, June 24, 2022.
Candidates should note that the cut-offs for CLAT change every year depending on various factors. These include;
Number of seats offered by the national law universities (At present all NLUs offer a combined intake of around 2800 seats in UG-CLAT and around 850 seats in CLAT LLM)
Reservation policy of the university; some universities offer domicile reservations up to 25% of total available seats
Candidate preference. Top 5 NLUs are most preferred as a result, their NLU cut-off from these universities tend to be higher.
Marks and rank obtained by the candidate in CLAT 2022.
Number of candidates appearing in the examination; around 60,000 candidates will appear in CLAT 2022 for LLB programme. Over 10,000 candidates will appear in CLAT LLM
Number of candidates giving preference to a given NLU
There will be a procedure of negative marking for objective type questions. The question paper of UG courses will be of 200 marks and PG course question paper will be of 150 marks. Candidates will be awarded with one mark for each correct response. For incorrect response, 0.25 marks will get deducted.

A score of 95 to 100 will be considered a good score in CLAT 2022. It will help the candidates secure admission in top 4-5 national law universities.

CLAT scores will be used by 22 national law universities for admission to integrated LLB and LLM programmes.
The Consortium of NLUS has released the final answer key for CLAT UG and PG programme on June 23, 2022.
The Consortium will activate the CLAT 2022 result link in its official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates should enter their login credentials like application number, registration number and date of birth to access the CLAT exam result 2022.
For the top 5 NLUs, the CLAT cut-offs are likely to be in the range of 95 to 105 marks. The NLSIU Bengaluru cut-off may be 100+ CLAT marks. NALSAR Hyderabad, WBNUJS Kolkata, NLU Jodhpur and GNLU Gandhinagar are the other most preferred NLUs.
According to various CLAT experts, the expected cut-offs for CLAT 2022 will be similar to previous year CLAT cut offs.
A good attempt in CLAT 2022 should be around 120 - 130 questions.
22 national law universities are participating in CLAT 2022. Only NLU Delhi is not part of CLAT, it will conduct AILET 2022 on June 25, 2022.
The NLUs will offer around 2800 seats in 5-year LLB programme and around 850 seats in CLAT LLM.
Compared to last year, less number of candidates had registered for CLAT 2022. Last year, around 70,000 candidates registered for CLAT exam, and 62,107 candidates appeared in the examination. This year, only 56472 candidates have appeared in CLAT 2022.
CLAT 2021 - Overview
A total of 56,472 candidates appeared for the CLAT 2022 exam. Whereas, 60,895 candidates were registered for CLAT.
92% of registered candidates appeared in the CLAT UG examination. CLAT LLM was attended by 87% of registered candidates.
The national level law entrance exam, CLAT 2022 was held on June 19, 2022, in offline mode. The exam was held in 131 exam centres, in 81 cities across the country.
According to the CLAT 2022 helpdesk, the result will be declared shortly.
The final answer key of CLAT 2022 is available at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates can download the answer key pdf and calculate their revised scores.
The Subject Expert Committee met on June 22, 2022, and deliberated upon all the objections raised by the candidates accordingly the answer key has been revised.
