Admissions counselling process
Candidates who have been allotted seats at any NLU will have three options as mentioned below;
-
Freeze
-
Float
-
Exit
Freeze option
If the candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and is not interested in participating in further rounds of seat allocation, they may freeze the seat allocation. Such candidates have to pay the confirmation fee within the stipulated time.
Float option
If a candidate has not been allotted his first preferred NLU and wants to participate in the next round to get a higher preference, he may choose the ‘Float’ option.
