NEW DELHI: CLAT 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted today, December 18, from 2 pm to 4 pm. The Consortium of NLUs released the CLAT exam day guidelines and instructions for the participating candidates. It will conduct the examination in 127 exam centres across the country.

Candidates planning to take CLAT 2023 are required to carry some documents and items to their designated exam centre. The complete list of such documents is given below.
CLAT 2023 admit card (In case the photograph is not clear on the admit card, bring a self-attested photograph)
A Government ID proof
Black or blue ballpoint pen
Transparent water bottle
Face mask
An analogue watch
PwDs/ SAPs should carry their original Disability Certificate
Aadhaar card, passport, PAN card, ration card/PDS photo card
CGHS/ECHS photo card
Photobank ATM card
Voter ID card, Driving license
Photo ID issued by a recognised educational institution
Kissan photo passbook
Address card having name and photo issued by the department of posts
Certificate of identity having photo issued by gazetted officer or tehsildar on letterhead
Disability ID card/handicapped medical certificate issued by the respective State/UT governments/administrations

Reporting to the test Centre and test timings
Candidates can enter the test centre premises from 01 pm onwards. Candidates who arrive later than 2:15 pm will not be permitted into the exam hall and no one will be permitted to leave before 04 pm
Attendance
Write the Question booklet number, and the OMR sheet number, and sign in the space/ column provided in the attendance sheet circulated during the test

Question booklet (QB) will contain 150 multiple choice questions and 2 blank pages for rough work. No additional sheet(s) of paper will be supplied for rough work.
Enter your admit card number on the first page of the QB at the beginning of the test
Answer the questions in the separate carbonised Optical Mark Reader (OMR) response sheet supplied along with the QB using black or blue ball point pen only.
Candidates can retain the QB and the candidate’s copy of the OMR sheet after the test.
CLAT marking scheme and answer key
Every right answer secures 1 (one) mark. Every wrong answer results in the deduction of 0.25 marks. There will be no deductions for unanswered questions. The answer key of CLAT 2023 will be published soon after the exam.
