CMAT 2021 exam shift 2 begins; Check important details

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the CMAT 2021 second shift exam at 3 PM. The authorities have already concluded the first shift of CMAT 2021, which was held from 9 AM to 12/ 12:30 PM. Students who are appearing for the CMAT exam are expected to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines and other instructions all the time inside and outside the CMAT exam centre. The CMAT March 31 exam is being conducted for MBA admissions in over 1,000 management institutes across the country.

To ensure the safe conduct of the CMAT entrance exam, the authorities are providing candidates with a fresh three-ply mask before entry. Students have to remove the mask worn by them from home and wear the one provided by the authorities.

Things to carry in CMAT 2021 exam centre

• CMAT 2021 admit card along with duly filled self-declaration/ undertaking.

• Original Id proof

• Passport size photograph of candidate (to be pasted on attendance sheet)

• Personal transparent water bottle.

• A simple transparent ballpoint pen.

• Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml).

• Face mask and gloves

• PwD Certificate (if claiming reservation)

CMAT 2021 exam analysis for shift 1

As per the shift 1 CMAT exam analysis, the difficulty level of the CMAT exam was of moderate level. The quantitative techniques and data interpretation section were a bit time-consuming. The general awareness section was also quite tough as per most of the candidates who appeared in the CMAT exam. The difficulty level of the reasoning section was between easy to moderate. The questions in GK were from economics, sports, science, personalities, trade awareness, politics, and literature.

This year NTA had revised the CMAT exam pattern by including an additional optional section namely, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This section has 25 questions and carries a total weightage of 100 marks just like other CMAT sections.
