NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the COVID-19 guidelines for the CMAT entrance exam on March 24 along with the release of CMAT hall ticket 2021. The CMAT 2021 will be conducted on March 31, in two shifts. The NTA will implement social distance measures as per the guidelines issued by the Government of India owing to the COVID-19 situation in the country to ensure the health and safety of candidates.

However, most of the students have been trying for the CMAT helpline number to reconsider the CMAT exam dates. All participants in CMAT 2021 should follow the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

CMAT 2021: Advisory for candidates regarding COVID-19

Before appearing for CMAT 2021, students are advised to carefully read the instructions mentioned on the CMAT Admit Card 2021.

Preparation at the CMAT 2021 exam centre

  • Standard operating procedures will be implemented for the safety and maintenance of the required hygiene.

  • Before the commencement of CMAT 2021 test, the seating area including keyboards, monitors, mouse, desk, webcam, and chair will be thoroughly sanitized. All door handles, lift buttons, staircase railing, etc. will be disinfected.

  • The gap between the two seats will be maintained as per GOI guidelines.

  • Candidates and centre staff will have hand sanitizer available at the entrance and examination area at various locations for use.

  • Thermo guns will be used to check the candidate’s body temperature.

  • Bar code readers will be available at the entry point to scan the barcode of the CMAT hall ticket. The hall number will be informed to the students at this point.

  • In order to ensure the rules of social exclusion, all processes are touch-free, to the maximum extent possible.

CMAT 2021: Pre-examination preparation

  • Check the reporting time given in the CMAT 2021 admit card and reach the exam centre according to the reporting time only to avoid crowds at the centre at the time of entry and to maintain social distance.

  • Candidates have to fill up all the details in the CMAT 2021 admit card along with the self-declaration and undertaking, as per instructions.

  • Students will be allowed to carry only certain items to the exam venue as specified in the student instruction section in the CMAT hall ticket.

  • Candidates must maintain a minimum distance of 6 feet from each other at all times.

  • Laboratory numbers will not be displayed outside the centre to prevent crowds from coming to any place under any circumstances.
