CMI entrance exam 2022 on May 22; Registration from March 1
CMI entrance test 2022 will be conducted on May 22 for admission to BSc, MSc and PhD programmes (except PhD Physics) offered by the institute.

NEW DELHI : Chennai Mathematical Institute will release the CMI application form 2022 on March 1 at cmi.ac.in. Candidates who wish to enroll themselves in BSc, MSc or PhD programmes offered by CMI can register themselves and fill the CMI 2022 application form by visiting the official website of the institute.
CMI entrance exam 2022 will be held on May 22 (2 pm to 5 pm). The duration of the CMI 2022 entrance test will be three hours. The remaining details related to the CMI entrance test will be announced later in the end of February, 2022.
CMI entrance examination is held by Chennai Mathematical Institute every year for admission to PG courses such as MSc in computer science, mathematics and data science and UG courses such as BSc in mathematics and physics, mathematics and computer science. One can also take admissions in PhD computer science or mathematics programme offered by the institute by clearing the CMI entrance exam 2022.
The entrance test will be followed by an interview in case of PhD admissions. For admission in PhD Physics, the candidates have to appear in the Joint Entrance Screening Test or JEST.
The CMI entrance test 2022 will be held in major cities including Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Indore, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Silchar, Siliguri, Srinagar, Tiruchi, Trivandrum, Visakhapatnam, Agartala, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Calicut, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Durgapur, Goa and Gurgaon.
Those students who have excelled in the national olympiads of physics and mathematics conducted by HBSCE and the Indian Computing Olympiad conducted by IARCS need not to appear in the CMI entrance exam 2022 for BSc admissions.
